Temporal Networks in Human Dynamics
Satellite Meeting ECCS'14 Lucca 22-26 September 2014
The study of the temporal characteristics of social dynamics, and in particular of temporal networks, raises new challenges, both theoretical and practical, with many applications to fields such as social sciences or epidemiology.
New tools and frameworks are needed to characterize and model temporal networks as well as the profound consequences that networks dynamics have on dynamical processes taking place upon them.
The scope of the satellite meeting is to review the recent advances that have been witnessed in the field of temporal networks and human behavior, focusing in particular on the interplay between them.
The list of topics that we aim to cover at the conference is the following:
The Satellite will be hosted by ECCS'14 and will be co-located with the main conference at IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca campus; all IMT structures are located in the historical center of Lucca and make up an integrated campus for advanced studies and research.
Submission deadline is June 30, 2014. Go to Call for Abstract for information on how to submit your abstract.
